What to expect for your first visit
Your first appointment with us is our chance to learn about your health history, address any current concerns, and tailor a treatment plan to meet your needs. Your provider will spend approximately one hour with you at this visit.
We ask that you complete your new patient paperwork prior to scheduling, to ensure that the doctor has time to review it in advance and prepare for your visit.
It is also helpful to bring any prescriptions or other supplements that you are currently taking.
Our clinic is in network with several insurance companies, and we are happy to bill insurance for patients with confirmed coverage. We do not bill Medicare. We also offer a cash discount for patients who do not have in-network coverage. If you have questions about your coverage, please contact your insurance provider.
When you call to schedule your appointment, we will help you register with our patient portal. The portal can be used to complete your new patient forms electronically, send messages to your provider, and securely share and store medical records.
Our new patient coordinator can answer any other questions you may have, and can be reached at 503.505.9806, ext. 2.
What is naturopathic medicine?
Naturopathic medicine combines safe and effective traditional therapies with the most current advances in modern medicine. Naturopathic Physicians utilize the same diagnostic tools, physical exams, lab work, and imaging techniques as conventional physicians. They can serve as your primary care doctor or as a consultant when needed. Naturopathic Doctors are licensed primary care physicians that attend four years of medical school before sitting for naturopathic medical boards. The philosophy of Naturopathic Medicine is to consider each person and their health status on an individual basis. Learn how to take charge of your health.
